Chief Executive Officer

Harro Beusker is Chief Executive Officer of nLighten and is a veteran of the European data center industry, having held senior positions at Interxion, IXEurope and Equinix between 1999 and 2021. Prior to nLighten he was senior VP of Corporate Development & Strategy at Equinix EMEA, as well as Managing Director of Equinix in Germany, Netherlands and France. Before that he was COO of Interxion.

Chief Technical Officer

Chad McCarthy is CTO and co-founder of nLighten with many years of experience, having held leading positions internally and as a consultant for some of the world’s biggest colocation players. Most recently he was Equinix’s Global Head of Engineering Development and Master Planning and instrumental in the development of Equinix’s hyperscale platform, xScale.

Chief Sales Officer

Christian Zipp is Chief Sales Officer at nLighten and boasts an extensive track record in the data center industry, with a wealth of experience in senior sales roles within the world's largest data center corporations. In his most recent role, he served as the Vice President Sales for DACH & Netherlands at Digital Realty and held the position of Regional Vice President Sales at Equinix.

Sr VP Operations

Jeroen Schlosser is Senior Vice President of Operations. When he started operating Telecity in the Netherlands in 1999, this was Jeroen's first role in the data center industry and led to the data center industry taking a place in his heart. After that, Jeroen held several positions at Equinix. Most recently, he led the global operations of Equinix's xScale portfolio for its hyperscale customers.

VP Corporate Development

Nick Marshall is our Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to nLighten, he had a range of operational and investment roles in the digital infrastructure and services industries, including several roles as part of Zayo Group’s pre-IPO management team in Colorado, Investment Director at Chirisa and Head of Strategy & Corporate Development at Six Degrees. Nick is based in London.

VP Real Estate

Alex Appierdo is Vice President of Real Estate at nLighten. He has a comprehensive experience in digital infrastructure and commercial real estate, organically growing businesses around the globe. Most recently he served as the Director of Real Estate at Equinix enabling the growth of the retail and hyperscale businesses.

Managing Director UK

John Hall is Managing Director, UK at nLighten and brings extensive experience in the data centre industry, most recently as Managing Director and co-founder of Proximity Data Centres. Previously John Hall has held senior leadership roles in the global data centre, IT outsourcing and telecoms industries.

Finance Director UK

A founder and FD of Proximity Data Centres, John has decades of financial management experience holding various Board Finance roles for Telemetrix PLC, Phoenix IT and the Daisy IT Group. As well as the finance function, John Craig has headed commercial, legal and operational teams, creating and running business solutions for large scale IT outsourced services and data centre provision.

Managing Director France

With more than 20 years' international experience in the data center and IT services sector, with a particular focus on strategic development and the implementation of new business models, Anwar has been at the forefront of forward-looking strategy for Euclyde Datacenters, the French division of nLighten, for more than 10 years, with a particular focus on proximity to utilities and sustainable infrastructure.
